Peregian Springs Chiropractic Services
At Peregian Springs Chiropractic we provide tailored chiropractic services based on an individualised managed programme of Chiropractic adjustment for our clients.
This includes soft tissue therapy, sports taping, and other methods to support your treatment. We perform a detailed medical history and examination and refer for x-ray diagnostics (when appropriate) to locate the cause of your pain.
We also provide advice on physical activity, postural and rehabilitative methods to help you regain strength and mobility.
Chiropractic

Chiropractors are registered health professionals and complete a minimum of five years of university education. They are trained to treat mechanical issues of your musculoskeletal system which is made up of muscles, tendons, ligaments, joints, and your nervous system.
Manual therapy techniques are used by chiropractors to improve the function of your spine and other joints in your body and can help with conditions such as low back pain, neck pain, headaches, and poor posture.
Chiropractors are also trained to prescribe stretches and exercises to treat and rehabilitate conditions related to muscles and joints to help support your body.
Medical Acupuncture

This technique uses a combination of medical acupuncture points and traditional Chinese medicine points (TCM) tailored to your individual needs.
Dr. Julie Hunter completed her Medical Acupuncture Training from the University of McMaster (Canada) in 2009.
Gwasha

Is a soft tissue tool that is used to break up adhesions in the muscle and draw more blood flow to the area that may aid in restoring proper muscular mechanics and function.
Soft Tissue

Treatment of soft tissue included muscles, tendons, ligaments and fascia and may include trigger point therapy, general muscle release, active muscle release or using tools such as guasha (muscle stripping).
These are used to help ease muscle tension and help restore proper function and range of movement.
